Taking Requests

Taking Requests

I’ve decided to let the readers decide which post I’ll make next. Also, I just figured out how to do this poll stuff so I wanted to show off my ever increasing blog super powers. I’ll leave the poll open for a few days and abide by the results. You can also drop a comment and let me know why you made that choice. So make your choice. DO IT NOW! Sorry, that seemed a little pushy. PLEASE, DO IT NOW!

**UPDATE** So far we have a tie between the quest for the lost wedding ring and losing track when serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I’ll give it the weekend to see if we get a tie breaker. If not, I’ll let my home wire tap device randomly pick between the two. Of course River could rally some votes for the bar story, but the odds (as they often are) seem to be against her.

***ANOTHER UPDATE*** It’s Monday morning and we still have a tie between the tale of a lost wedding ring and the tale of losing track of alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks when minors were involved. See the video to find out which one wins first billing.

P.S. I’m also going to be hosting a Saturday blogger chat session soon in my chat room. It’ll be a chance for all us bloggers to virtually meet and chat it up. I’ll make a post a week before the Saturday I chose so you’ll have plenty of time to clear your calendar!

  1. I go grocery shopping on Saturday mornings, so if I don’t check in, it’s not for lack of interest!

I don’t drink anymore either, so reading about a mix up would be almost as good as doing it myself.

Speaking of – how is your health coming along? Any progress – or doesn’t your condition fall under the ‘essential’ heading.

    1. Your vote is duly recorded!

I plan on making the Saturday chat a full day thing so as to cover everyone’s time schedule. More to follow on that one.

As of my last visit my doctor told me my health status was “In Limbo” meaning I’m sick and they are waiting on me to get even sicker before I can qualify for a liver transplant.

  2. I think it’s a given that I voted for a story about a bar.
Do I really need to explain why…?
    😉

  3. Well, I voted for the bar story too, but it doesn’t seem to have moved the needle enough. This was a hard vote. I really think you could come up with something entertaining about any of the options, including “Nothing! How did I even end up here?”
How you ended up here, wherever it is, is probably a pretty funny story.

    1. Thanks for the vote! River will surely appreciate it. Also thanks for your confidence in me for making something out of nothing at all.
